❗️Remember, the quality of the data you send us is crucial. High-quality data ensures all processes, from Screening to Risk assessment, work effectively and accurately. Small inaccuracies can have big impacts, like missing crucial alerts. For detailed examples and tips on enhancing your data quality, click here. We're here to help if you need support improving your data quality.
Types of data you provide
You’re sharing two main types of data with us:
It is the data you collect about your customers - both individuals and legal entities - for example: names, addresses, identification numbers, information about expected behaviour, and so on.
Person data has 2 mandatory fields: id and type. More on Person data requirements can be found here.
It is the data you collect about the transactions your customers make: how much, between whom, when and so on.
Transaction data has 4 mandatory fields: id, person_id, amount and timestamp. More on Transaction data requirements can be found here.
Each transaction is attached to a Person, therefore:
Person data always comes first - you won’t be able to upload transactions related to a non-existent Person!
person_id is one of mandatory fields for Transaction data.
❓ What data should you send?
When considering which Person and Transaction details to send, you should think about:
the immediate needs for Monitoring, Screening, and Risk assessment,
and also what might help analysts when handling alerts - sometimes, a piece of information might not seem critical at first glance but can provide valuable context for understanding an Alert's background.
