Users access management

How to add and deactivate users, and an overview of accesses of each user role

The Users tab can be used to add, edit or delete users. You can also search for all the current users that you already have or see the deactivated ones.

User Roles

There are nine types of User Roles: Customer Read Only, IT Admin, AML Agent, Customer Admin, Customer Agent, Analyst, Customer Dashboard Read Only, AML Agent Limited, and Screening Search Only. All of them have different features that they can have access to.

AML_AGENT_LIMITED

Alert view access (read/write), Search access, Person and Transaction page access (read/write).

Provides essential alert management and search capabilities, suitable for entry-level roles.

AML_AGENT

AML_AGENT_LIMITED

Read-only access to Screening, Monitoring and Risk configurations, and Dashboards.

Expands access to include viewing critical configuration settings and dashboards, ideal for enhanced oversight.

CUSTOMER_AGENT

AML_AGENT

Write access to Monitoring and Risk configurations, read access to Screening configuration.

Enables active configuration of Monitoring and Risk settings, tailored for operational staff.

ANALYST

CUSTOMER_AGENT

Read/write access to all other product configurations (e.g. Alert statuses, Schemas, and others).

Offers comprehensive control over all product configurations for in-depth analysis and customisation.

CUSTOMER_ADMIN

ANALYST

User, webhook, and client credential management.

Adds administrative controls, managing users and system integrations, suitable for system administrators.

AML Agent Limited

Specialised User Roles and Access Rights

IT_ADMIN

User, webhook, and client credential management, index reset

Handles critical administrative functions, system settings, and technical configurations for IT staff.

CUSTOMER_READONLY

Read-only access to all Alerts, Search, Screening, Analyst toolbox, and Dashboards

Provides comprehensive viewing capabilities across various functions without modification rights.

CUSTOMER_DASHBOARD_READONLY

Read-only access to all Dashboards

Ideal for users needing to view Dashboard data exclusively, focusing on visual data representations.

SCREENING_SEARCH_ONLY

Access to Screening Search only and read-only access to Custom lists in Analyst toolbox

Limited to performing Screening searches.

Adding new users

In order to add a new user, go to Admin → Users, click 'Add new user'. In the pop up window you need to add user's email, full name and select Roles. One user can have several user roles, if needed.

❗ "Password" column should be left empty upon adding new users. Newly added users will receive a welcome email with a link to set up their own password.


User deactivation

If needed, users can be deactivated by pressing Edit button on the right side of the user row.

To view the list of deactivated users, and reactivate them as needed you can toggle the Show deactivated users button on/off.

For on-premise clients, this functionality is available for IT_ADMIN , CUSTOMER_ADMIN and ADMIN roles.

For cloud/SaaS clients, this functionality is available for IT_ADMIN and CUSTOMER_ADMIN roles.
