Each alert created has a status assigned to it. That status can be then used in a variety of ways to support decision-making and business processes around that alert.

, FILTERED
, PENDING
, TRUE_POSITIVE
, CLOSED_AS_FALSE_POSITIVE
, SANCTION_NOT_APPLICABLE
. It is possible to configure these statuses based on your business needs and processes.
❗ You can add/edit/delete Alert Statuses, but note that these changes may directly affect webhooks Decision rules, so make sure to update them accordingly, and take precautions when setting the status options.
Some Alert Statuses cannot be edited. These are system statuses, such as NEW

for a Screening Alerts auto-resolved by Clearance Rules; or RFI

Quick status notes
Quick status notes allows you to have a list of preset notes per Alert status so you don't have to type out common explanations every time. This feature is available for all types of Alerts - Screening, Monitoring and Bridge.
Let’s say your company accepts PEPs (after a thorough check and relevant escalation, of course) and you want the person accepting PEPs to use comments with the same wording - “PEP status confirmed, EDD check done, additional monitoring will be implemented.” - Quick Status Notes can help you do this.

Setting up Quick Status Notes
Quick Status Notes are added and edited through Alert Status setup page (Admin → Alert Statuses).
Select a status you want to add the Quick Status Note to, click |···| → Quick Status Notes.
Add new notes or edit existing ones, and make sure you click Save.
❗ When a status, such as "Closed as False Positive," is used in multiple alert types (Screening, Monitoring, Bridge), the associated Quick Status Notes become available for all these types. This means if you set up a note like "Date of birth mismatch" for Screening alerts, it will also be accessible when you close a Monitoring alert with the same status.
