Introduction
The Alert Export feature provides a flexible and efficient way for users to export alerts based on specific criteria. This article guides you through the process of exporting alerts using selected filters, choosing between different report templates, and obtaining your report.
Accessing Alert Export
Navigate to the Alerts section.
Use Alert filters to refine the list of alerts you wish to export. Filters can be based on dates, alert status, risk levels, or other criteria relevant to your needs.
Selecting Alerts for Export
Once you have selected the desired filter:
Bulk Selection: For efficiency, you can opt to select all alerts returned by the filter by checking the bulk select checkbox. This option is ideal for when you need to export large volumes of alerts.
Individual Selection: If you prefer a more targeted approach, you may select alerts individually by checking the boxes next to each alert you wish to include in the export.
π¨ Please be aware that the export data will be restricted to alerts created from the start of the previous calendar year up to the current date, effectively excluding alerts from before that period.
Choosing a Report Template
After selecting the alerts:
Click on the βExport alertsβ button to proceed.
A dialog box will appear, prompting you to select the type of report template you wish to use for the export. The available options are:
QA/QC Template: Best suited for quality assurance and control purposes, allowing for a detailed review of alert handling and investigation processes.
Audit Template: Designed for audit purposes, this template focuses on providing the essential information required for regulatory compliance and internal audits.
π With both report types, you will receive 1 .csv file that contains information about both Monitoring and Screening alerts.
π¨ All timestamps in the reports are in the UTC timezone.
β
This may differ from the time shown in the UI, which adjusts to your local timezone. For example, if an alert is generated at 10 AM in UTC+3, it will appear as 7 AM UTC in the report.
βοΈ Alerts that are automatically resolved and generated with the status FILTERED are not included in these reports. If there is a need to export FILTERED alerts, please contact Salv support.
Exporting Your Report
Upon selecting your preferred report template, click on the Export button to initiate the report generation process.
The system will begin compiling the data into the chosen format. Depending on the volume of data, this process may take some time.
βοΈ If you have just created a new filter or updated an existing one and want to download its report, make sure the filter alerts table has finished loading. Otherwise, you might not receive the full results.
Receiving Your Report
Once the report generation is complete, you will receive an email notification. This email will contain a link to download your report.
π¨ The link sent in the email will only work for the user who requested the report and will expire after 7 days.
2. Click on the link provided in the email to download your report in CSV format. The CSV file can be opened with any spreadsheet software, such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, for further analysis or record-keeping.
Audit trail
The Dashboard for the Head of Compliance contains a table called 'Alert Exports,' which indicates all report downloads and the users who requested the reports.
