Alert Note Templates

Alert Note Templates allow you to create reusable note content for different alert types. These templates help standardise investigation notes, improve efficiency and act as internal checklists or guidance.

Only users with CUSTOMER_ADMIN or ANALYST rights can create or edit templates.

To access Alert Note Templates go to Configuration and select Alert Note Templates:


Creating a New Template

To add a new template:

  1. Click + New Template

  2. Choose the relevant Alert Type:

    • Monitoring

    • Screening

    • Bridge

  3. Fill in the following fields:

    • Name – the label users will see in the template selection menu

    • Content – the default text that appears when the template is inserted

  4. Click Save

πŸ’‘ Use descriptive names (e.g. Screening: PEP escalation, Monitoring: Unusual transaction review) to help users easily identify the right template.


Managing Existing Templates

On the Alert Note Templates page, you can:

  • View existing templates grouped by alert type

  • Edit a template by clicking on it

  • Update the name or content as needed

  • Delete templates that are no longer in use

    • NB! Deleting be permanently removes the templates and they cannot be recovered.

Changes to a template do not affect notes already added to alerts.
